Built in 1901 and recently updated, Amy's Boathouse was originally accommodations for the nannny and children visiting the lake. Discriminating travelers enjoy the lighted wooden steps from the parking area to the flagstone patio. A private screened in porch overlooks the private waterfront and dock. The waterfront is great for fishing, swimming. A paddleboat is available for touring the lake. The lightly wooded grounds provide privacy for the area which is complete with porch hammock, Adirondack chairs, firepit, picnic table and gas grill.
Each oversized bedroom has a TV and fantastic waterviews, since the bedroom literally are located over the lake. One bedroom has 2 queen beds and the second has a king bed with oversized timber frame. The decor is an inviting mix of modern leather, antique furnishings and hardwood floors. Canoe and kayak rentals available nearby. Convenient to baseball tournaments in both Cooperstown and Oneonta.
