Leeward Cottage

Leeward Cottage is a unique 1 bedroom cottage located on a 2 acre private pond, complete with a small island. The pond is the home of many very large bass, perch, crappies, catfish, and sunfish.  Guests love the fishing here. This is truly an awesome setting – an ideal private vacation getaway.   This cottage has one bedroom and a living, dining and kitchen area.  A picture window looks out over the pond.  There is a lighted picnic pavilion at the edge of the pond.  The pond has a dock and a rowboat for your use.  The pond flows out over a 20-foot waterfall that is the head of a New York State registered trout stream.  There is an outdoor fire pit.

Great spot to watch nature including Great Blue Herons, Kingfishers and beavers.  Leeward is a certified National Wildlife Habitat and is Conservation Land in partnership with Otsego Land Trust. It is a certified Wildlife Habitat through the National Wildlife Federation.

Dial-up internet access. Guests who bring their own cell phone air card can connect to the internet.
