Payment Policy
- We accept Visa, MasterCard, money orders, or checks (checks and money orders must be received within 14 days of booking)
- We accept only Visa and MasterCard for online bookings.
- Make personal checks, bank checks or money orders payable to Cooperstown Stay and mail to:

1. If you book between October 1 and March 1:
- 50% of the total rental (rental fee + tax) is due when the reservation is made.
- The remaining 50% is due within 3 months of the booking date.
2. If you book between March 1 and May 1:
- 50% of the total rental (rental fee + tax) is due when the reservation is made.
- The remaining 50% is due within 1 month of the booking date.
3. If you book after May 1:
- The total rental (rental fee + tax) is due when the reservation is made.
Please note:
- Private lodging is taxed at 4%; motels and bed and breakfasts are taxed at 12%.
- Refundable damage /security deposits are paid directly to host.
- There will be a $25.00 processing fee for any ‘insufficient funds’ checks.

Cancellation Policy
1. If we receive a cancellation notice 60 or more days prior to the reserved date of arrival, the full amount of the rental payment will be refunded, less a Cancellation Fee equal to 10% of the Full Rental Fee.
2. If we receive a cancellation notice less than 60 days prior to the reserved date of arrival, there will be no refund unless we are able to re-book. In that case, the rental payment will be refunded in full less a Cancellation Fee equal to 10% of the Full Rental Fee.
3. LARGE HOME EXCEPTION for 4, 5, and 6+ bedroom homes:
• If we receive a cancellation notice 90 or more days prior to the reserved date of arrival, the full amount of the rental payment will be refunded, less a Cancellation Fee equal to 10% of the Full Rental Fee.
• If we receive a cancellation notice less than 90 days prior to the reserved date of arrival, there will be no refund unless we are able to re-book. In that case, the rental payment will be refunded in full less a Cancellation Fee equal to 10% of the Rental Fee.
