Amy's Schoolhouse - New renovation in 2018, located less than 3 miles to the Dreams Park - under 5 minute drive. This 6 bedroom, 3 bath home sits on a 1+ acre yard backed up by a lightly wooded area.

The original part of the house was a 1-room schoolhouse built in 1860. This home now features an open floor concept that marries vintage details with modern amenities. Your host has retained the original hardwood flooring on the first floor, wainscoting, blackboards, light fixtures, a water fountain and a claw foot tub which all add to the charming character of this space. For your convenience and comfort, there is a contemporary kitchen with stainless appliances, and renovated baths. The living/dining great room has 15 foot ceilings with a massive ceiling fan. It features a large flat-screen TV/DVD. A farmhouse table seats 8-10 plus an antique breakfast bar for 4.

Sleeping accommodations are arranged to accommodate a variety of groups. On the first floor there are 2 bedrooms - 1 with a king and one with a double bed.  A small futon in the living area provides extra sleeping. A bath off the hallway has a shower and a clawfoot tub on the first floor.

On the second floor, there are four bedrooms, a king bedroom with a small futon and en-suite bath. There are also 2 queen bedrooms, and a double bedroom. There is a 2nd floor bath off the hallway with a shower. An outdoor shower is also available.

For family fun and entertainment, your hosts provide a game room, in a separate 840 square foot building, complete with lounge area and large-screen TV/DVD player, pool table, ping pong, foosball, air hockey and basketball. There is an extensive ground-level deck area with gas grill, picnic table and Adirondack seating.

Amy's Schoolhouse has been a super successful rental for over 10 years. In 2023  new owners took over, they are dedicated and very hospitable hosts!
